luscious lips XOXO

Ladies! Lets bring back the power of luscious lips. One common trend I notice through my friends is that they are all scared of lip stick! Okay girls in middle school its okay for the lip smackers and gloss but as we come into our womanhood we need to adapt to a more sophisticated look. Lip stick adds color to the lips and can complete a more feminine look that holds more maturity, so even though it might seem daunting and you don't want the "clown" look do not be afraid!

How to: Kim K's HAIR!

Okay so you want the low down on how to get Kim's volumnius hair look. Well lets take a look at this pic her sweeping bangs when straightend fall right about where her chin is, this is her REAL hair. The hair that is from her chin length down is mostly all extensions.
To get this [wavy] look on any hair length:
1)wash your hair
2)apply root booster
3)round brush (barrel of brush should be 2.5 in.)
4)use a curling iron of about 1.5 inch barrel
5)curl away from face
6) the hair you grab to curl should be no larger then 1in. pieces
7)HAIR SPRAY HAIR SPRAY HAIR SPRAY (light hold)
8)tease roots, not only to get the body but let it stay this way throughout your day!

SEX SELLS

So yesterday I was shopping at The Grove and had to go in my FAvoRiTE store ever (its 3 stories) Barnes&Noble! Only to find myself rummaging through the 2nd story books which is soley reserved to the aspiring artist. And of course had to pick up the new October issue of Vogue, and to see what authors were doing their next book signings...missed Nigel Barker last week *tear*  :( boo...But the magazine was purchased, my new inspiration for the next month that I will find myself reading over and over(by reading I mean envying the gorgeous models that grace the pages) driving home as fast as I could trying desperately not to open the cover until I could be in the comfort of my chair with my glass of Diet Coke and my abso. perfect lighting to truly grasp the radiance that was oozing off the pages kinda like it needed a band-aid. And then... there it was the ad, the ad, the ad that is so outrageous and umm.. naughty that you cant help but stare and be completely distracted. BANG! (the new scent from Marc Jacobs, I'm almost so moved by there advertising it makes me want to run to the closest Nordstrom and spray it all over me. ;-)

Bland to FAB.

:)What I L-O-V-E about this look is it has a way of making what would normally be "bland colors" have its own sense of style. It looks effortless and truly comfortable. This outfit would be appropiate to wear for a picnic or shopping through the village. It almost even has a safari edge with the different blend of khaki's and nude hues. The purse while it is adorable for the artistic view of the look, it is not practible. The rope belt looks almost like it could easily be imitated by knot-tying thick rope that you can purchase from a craft store. The flowy white skirt is definitely a must have for any summer wardrobe and can be worn high on the waist (as pictured) or lower for a more flowy look!

How do I say this nicely...

I can have ice cream on a diet?!?

Why have this?

                                                     When you can have this!
MY NEW OBSESSION:))
I am in LOVE with skinny cow treats, not only is it as good as real ice cream it is way more satisfying than a little cereal bar that is tiny when you unwrap the packaging! These skinny cow treats are so low in calories and they are the actual size of a real ice cream treat! DId I mention they are practically the same claorie intake as the lil' cereal bar? uhh yeah def. a must have for any dieter's freezer! They are deeeeeeeeee-LISH!

Two Tone Hair Color

Okay, so the new thing to do besides the dreaded "skunk"
is now the 2 tone hair color fade!
The hair color is darkened on the top and lighter on the bottom
(basically you let your roots grow out)

The Pros: Very fashion forward and you don't have to visit the salon that much!

The Cons:
Lauren Conrad is wearing extensions so it is not her real hair, the upkeep becomes high matenience.
Whitney Port's hair is a little too drastic, if she did a lighter brown on top then it would blend nicely and complement her fair skin.
Drew Barrymore's hair just ages her a little, and does not fit her youth appearance.
Rachel Bilson's however is not that drastic which ends up looking like her roots are grown out. A big no-no.

If you want to do this look you need the distance from the roots to be dastric enough so people know that what you are trying to do is a fashion trend and you are notjust late on getting ur hair done!
...and as ALWAYS please see a professional and DO NOT try this at home.

This hair trend should be attempted with caution! But its definitely a cute twist on a natural look:)
